A new AI app to distract phone scammers has now found itself involved with matchmaking. The app creates the persona of an older woman using AI to distract, frustrate, and confuse phone scammers. Dubbed “AI Granny,” this new tool is a great way to keep phone scammers distracted on the line so they spend less time scamming real elderly people.

But in a twist of fate, a phone scammer may have found his new bride. The scammer took to TikTok to profess his love for the AI granny, asking people to help him find her.

The best part? He doesn’t know she’s AI.

Here’s this poor phone scammer, in a call center somewhere in the world, thinking his true love is out there, when the truth is, she’s a robot. Not only did this guy confess to doing something illegal on TikTok, but he also made himself look utterly foolish for falling for the prank software.
